What should we pay attention to when building steel structure interlayer?

We all know about the characteristics and efficiency of steel structures. Here, the steel structure manufacturer will introduce the key points that should be paid attention to when building the interlayer of the steel structure.

1. It is not recommended to use square steel, pipe steel and other hollow steel to construct the steel structure interlayer. As the steel cannot be painted with anti-corrosion paint inside, the north is hot and cold, and the steel condensate corrosion will pollute the ceiling and wall, which will seriously endanger safety.

2. Before fixing the channel steel of the steel structure interlayer, the side of the channel steel sticking to the wall shall be painted with anti-corrosion paint, but other parts shall be painted after welding, otherwise the welding work will be affected.

3. For the purchase of steel (refined steel, I-shaped steel), we generally have 10, 12, 14 and 16 specifications to choose from. No matter which specification is selected, “national standard” steel is recommended. Because its steel and specification are better than “non-standard steel”, non-standard steel has high strength, steel brittleness, poor ductility, and is not easy to cut and drill.

4. About the introduction of bolts, the two types of bolts commonly used are “expansion screws” and “chemical bolts”. Different characteristics have their advantages and disadvantages. The “expansion screw” is a physical connection, which is lifted by iron sheet to support the inner wall (beam) for fixation. The “chemical bolt” is fixed by the chemical change between the chemical agent and the concrete. Chemical bolts are stronger, but they have a fatal weakness and are not heat-resistant. Therefore, even if they are selected for use, they must be used after welding. Expansion bolts are relatively vibration resistant.

5. I-shaped steel and channel steel must be of the same specification, and “penetration welding” must be selected. The main keel should be a whole steel, and intermediate welding is prohibited.

6. The expansion bolt should preferably be lengthened.

7. The bigger the steel is, the better. The problem of self weight should be considered.
