Causes and Solutions of Water Leakage in Steel Structure Factory

1. Location of roof air floor

The main reason for this leakage is that there is no foam plug under the edge of the junction between the building and the steel structure roof, and there is no cement or silica gel at the longitudinal overlap of the edge. The exterior roof panel of the steel building workshop is not plated at the building junction. The opening of the steel structure pillar is not waterproof, and the production and installation of the gas tower itself has potential water leakage.

Solution: Place a foam plug before installing the edge, and fix the longitudinal lap of the plug with cement or staples. The roof must be installed before installation, and the construction party must carry out waterproof treatment after the completion of the structure, and check the installation quality and waterproof performance of the steel plant building.

2. Cornice

This part is the main part of water leakage. The main reasons for water leakage are that there is no foam plug when installing the outer roof of the steel structure factory, the outer roof is not reduced, the length of the external wall plate is insufficient, and the cornice mouth is not waterproof.

Solution: When installing the roof outer plate, the foam plug should be placed at the same time, the roof outer plate should be reduced by 30 °, and an edge should be added in the eaves mouth according to the design requirements.

3. Canopy

The main reason for this part of water leakage is that the connection between the canopy and the ancillary housing is improperly handled. According to the design requirements, there is no plug between the awning and the exterior wall, or it does not extend to the exterior wall panel.

Solution: The connection between the awning and the auxiliary house must be overlapped and must be waterproof. Under normal circumstances, the edge of the awning shall enter the exterior wall panel. In order to facilitate the installation and construction of the building steel structure, the edge can directly lean against the external wall of the wall, but the plug must be placed and the gap must be sealed with silica gel.

4. Connection between brick wall and light steel roof

This part is easy to form the hidden danger of water leakage, and the connection between the steel structure roof panel and the cement wall will also leak. The main reason is that the stress is not synchronized, resulting in the surface cracking and leakage of silica gel and adhesive.

Solution: To prevent temperature deformation, please use two edges to receive connection processing. When connecting with the brick wall, the edge should have a certain angle and be completely sealed, and the edge should be sealed in advance.
