Under what circumstances should steel structure factory be reinforced?
The steel structure factory seems to be very strong and strong, why do we need to do reinforcement treatment? We can see many factory buildings in the industrial park, basically all of them are built with steel structures. Now that there is a steel structure factory building, there will be places that need to be reinforced. In order to avoid accidents, reinforcement is necessary.
Steel structure factory usually perform reinforcement actions in the following situations
1. Corrosion of steel components leads to weakening of the interface.
2. The components are deformed such as twisting and cracking.
3. The bearing capacity is insufficient. Due to the change of the load, the force of the original structure exceeds the budget.
4. When the structural design is wrong or the construction is wrong.
Usually steel structure engineering manufacturers will use the following three methods to strengthen the factory building
1. Cross-section reinforcement method: Reinforce with steel materials locally or along the entire length of the component, and connect them into a whole to make them bear the force together.
2. Prestressed cable method: use high-strength cables to strengthen weak links of the structure or improve the overall bearing capacity, stiffness and stability of the structure.
3. Change the calculation diagram: add additional supports, adjust the load distribution, reduce the internal force level, and force the displacement of the statically indeterminate structural support to reduce the peak stress.
